First and foremost, I would like to thank each one of you for your wonderful support of Adath Israel. It is indeed a special community comprised of families from many different backgrounds. We are a strong Shul with a bright future. Transitions are always challenging, but we have every confidence, that together, we will move forward as a community.

We need YOU for our annual dinner Tribute Book.
The Board of Directors of Adath Israel would like to remind you that the June 3 gala dinner is fast approaching. This event is very important, both to honor our beloved Rabbi and his family, and to raise much-needed funds for the shul.

In addition, we will be honoring Adath Israel President David Kimmel with a special recognition at this dinner for his many years of dedicated service to the shul.

Last week Jon Stewart ran a segment on “The Daily Show” that got a lot of buzz, and a large number of Facebook posts and e-mail forwards. On the segment entitled “Faith/Off- Easter vs. Passover” Stewart compares the fun quotient of Passover versus Easter, and beseeches his Jewish brethren to step up their collective game in order to make Passover more enticing to children.
